So, after seeing the Ultrafire Recoil at the get-together, I bought both versions that dealextreme had. One is basic on/off clickie and the other has three levels and strobe mode. I think I like the simpler one better....

An relatively inexpensive, single mode is under $40. Wish they made one for AA batteries.....

I've been looking at getting one of those MTE 18650 P7's like PlayboyJoeShmoe and ledaholic had, just not sure if I want the 3-5 level models. Looks like ledaholic had a little modification where he bypassed the resistors on the board. Nice trick to pump a few more lumens!!
