I have several mobiles, right now I mostly use my Sony Ericsson P1. I don't like it very much though, much to sluggish for my taste. Sometimes it takes ages to find a contact or an address, really annoying. I've been on the lookout for a new mobile for quite some time now, but the Xperia didn't convince me either (I tried a friend's and at least hers responded much to slowly for my taste). I would love to have an Iphone (this Christmas I got to play with my son's new Ipod Touch and I love the speed and interface) but the camera doesn't fit my needs (I often have to take visual notes with my cellphone since I can't be bothered with schlepping around a digital camera all the time).

Furthermore, since I got hooked up to CPF my mobile funds are slowly dwindling away, but I did buy some great lights :naughty:.

Until now my kids used to get my old mobiles, I guess for my next mobile this will be the other way around and I'll take one of their old ones.

Blackberry Curve. I work at home, and it lets me escape from the house and use email from anywhere. Which makes me appear to be at work, even when I'm at the zoo. Its awesome.

Mrs. Powernoodle has the Blackberry Bold, which is a definite improvement over the Curve, and which I'll get when my contract is up for renewal.

Sony Ericsson K700i - it's provides all the features I need & has a built in LED emitter (great emergency light) as well, what more could I want/need?

I use a plain old bar of soap style Nokia, have no idea what model. Must be 7 or 8 years old now and still has its original Li-ion battery. Display is so scratched it's hard to read unless the display is lit. I have dropped this thing onto concrete from 3 to 5 feet high I don't know how many times. The phone flies apart. Every time this happens I figure it's toast, but yet all I have to do is snap it back together again and it works. It doesn't have a camera, do email, surf the web or make cappucino. It simply makes and receives phone calls. I love the thing, and will be sad when it finally dies.

my blackberry 8320 is the best mobile communication device ever made, thats kind of sad that your so defensive over a damn phone, guess what? mines been dropped in a creek and it still works. could your sony do that? my bb goes 4-5 days between charges with email, facebook, myspace and bb PIN all being used heavily, your phone doesnt even have PIN its only for the best phones. how well does your phone do for reception? i can pick up signals in the middle of no where, when other people with the same service provider cant even get a bar, i can get three.

You might know more about flashlights then myself, I'm pretty new to it. But when it comes down to cell phones, I know much more then you, coming from a guy that has very old model that doesnt even have 3G? I wouldn't talk, and dropped your phone in a creek? I've never dropped any of my phones, so what if your bb goes 4-5 days between charges that just means you hardly use it. My battery is rated at 1500mAh much more capacity then yours. Blackberrys are for people that don't know any better and just get it because everyone else does. **bunch of clones**

Your screen resolution is so low when watching videos its so pixelated, your phone loads up web pages so slow because its on EDGE, If you think your 3 year old curve is the best mobile device ever made then you must be dreaming and it shows just how limited your knowledge is with cellular phones. There are so many newer devices out there(Xperia X1a) that are so much better then your ancient curve.

if you could read then you would notice that i use the device rather heavily and still get 4-5 days of battery life. and guess what? i dont want to watch videos on my phone, i have an itouch for that. have fun by yourself with your wonder phone. maybe you could use that 3g speed for good and google "social skills"

I"ve been using a Blackberry Storm since December. I have no problem with it. I added the Seidio 2600 mAh battery and I can "multmedia" all day (Audio Books, Movies), and of course the occasional phone call, and still have mucho battery left at the end of the day.

What really appeals to me is the Video Recorder light. I don't know what LED it uses, but it is a bright clean white, with a huge spread and no discernable hot spot - AND - it lights up an entire room better than my various Arc AAA flashlights. It must be some new LED, cuz it rocks.

Anyone have any idea what LED Blackberry uses for the Storm Video light??

Samsung Hue (SCH-R500). Certainly nice enough for me. Played with the camera and MP3 player some when new. Not really chained to a phone, and don't intend to be. It stays in the car, mostly.

LoL u think my phone will hang? how about this what if the email has an attachment that is a 1.3GB movie? how long will it take your curve with only EDGE speeds to download it? Wait you curve can only play 3GP and MP4 formats so it cant even play AVI, MPG, DIVX or any good quality movie formats. Your opinion is BB's are the best for push emails, I beg to differ. Push email isn't the most important thing about phones. Voice quality is and your curve doesnt have 3G voice calling which is crappy in this day and age. The curve is over 3 years old and almost obsolete, the BOLD is its successor and thats not even a good phone. There's no mention of cpu speed or ram on any website because its stats are too low to even mention. Face it your 8310 Curve is a dinosaur. Blackberry's and iPhones are for people that don't know any better, there are so many other phones that perform better then blackberry's and iPhone but people dont do their research and get sucked into the fad.

If your thinking about the stats of my phone here they are

-3.0 inch TFT touch screen
-800*480 resolution(no other phone has a higher res)
-Full qwerty keyboard
-Optical trackpad
-256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM
-Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor
-HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps(3.5G)
-Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
-Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
-SMS, MMS, Email, Push email, IM
-3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus, video
-Standard battery, Li-Po 1500 mAh (BST-41)

Oh man sooooo spot on!!!! I had a curve for a little while and it could barely last 2 days with my use.. and I use less than 60 minutes talking.. a month... That's another reason I gave it up so quick..

My next phone will be the X1.. the G1 is just holding me over until I have money to throw at a X1..

Blackberry's and iPhones are for people that don't know any better, there are so many other phones that perform better then blackberry's and iPhone but people dont do their research and get sucked into the fad.

Quoted for the 100% TRUTH!
