Homemade E liquid

Does anyone else here make their own E juice? I started making my own about a year ago due to the cost and inconsistency of the premade liquids I was purchasing. Post your recipes or favorite liquids.

My daily vape is 60%PG/40%VG/ 8mg nicotine/ 4% peppermint/ 4% menthol
Vaping a Reo Grand/RM2
The taste resembles chewing a piece of peppermint candy

For my wife's mixture I use 70% PG/ 30%VG/ 7mg nic/ 4% peppermint/ 4% menthol
Vaping a Provari mini/ Kayfun

Hi there KDM ,yes,tbh it took well over a year of use before i decided to go that route. Maybe it was the "cba" or "too much messing" over just buying it ready made.........

Either way,since making my own i have not looked back and got many others into the same once explained how easy to make.

I usually make 50ml at a time.......simply because i have a 50ml beaker :laughing:

I use 72mg VG nicotine concentrate
250ml bottle of PG
250ml bottle of AG(diluted VG so not as thick)
Flavour concentrate-right now bubble gum

So to make 50ml at 18mg nic strength and 20% flavour it works out

So from top of calc i fill in

72mg
18mg
20%
20 drops
0
50ml

and works out
12.5ml nic
27.5ml diluent(PG&AG)
10ml Flavour

In beaker like(standing up)


I just add each ml on top of each to get to 50ml,then pour in larger bottle(usually a used PG bottle for example)

Repeat as many times as i want,shake bottle up and done.

Now i tend to like a 50/50mix for flav/vape etc so its even easier............

2x 250ml of PG and of AG,pour into another bottle,so 1/2 full,then pour other in to have 2 bottles of 250ml pre mixed 50/50 diluent

So example given,i would shake bottle,then top up beaker to 27.5ml............simples.

So 50/50 18mg strength of bubble gum:thumbsup:

Then i have 2x100ml bottles of juice(one not in pic)
From these i have 3x30ml bottles of juice(one in work)



I have made some more since,so have a few ready to go(gone to take a pic.............)

This is my jooce in the hoose right now
Big celar bottles are 2x 250ml of 50/50 PG/AG and a part bottle of 50/50,then a 250ml pre mixed bubble bum ready to vape. This topps up my 100ml bottles which is the next size down .There is 100ml of cherry,100ml of bubble gum and part bubble gum.

Then from that are my at hand bottles for topping tanks up,2x30ml bubble gum(topped from 100ml when low.........topped from 250ml when low :laughing:
2x30ml cherry in there too.
Its a complex process............honest

50ml Beaker that i use...........could do with 100ml one maybe..........no biggie tbh


So i would make simply 5 lots for 250ml...........

Every time i use any bottle,be it pre-mixed or actual made fluid,bottle always gets a good shake


That will last me some time too add!!! not a weeks use anyway :laughing:

Tell you what,these IMR cells get eaten quick this sub ohm lark,i am changing cells every couple of hours!!! Hence why my vp1 and/or vp2 are always on the go

Is nice vape 50/50!!

Have tried 70/30 AG/PG and a little too cloudy,as the PG does improve flavour i balance out more and dont want the throat hit PG gives. AG makes it smooth,clouds.........have tried other way in PG favour,but not smooth enough for me. From being used to more AG i have got used to the smooth vape.

Bottled(bought) tend to be 70/30 on average in PGs favour. Although this does depend on brand etc etc etc of course

Well your seat has been upgraded to 1st class business

Trust me Cataract, you will only look back and say "should have done this earlier" as its better than bought fluid,works out cheaper and can customise to suit your flavour % to throat hit and vape clouds/smoothness.

I was on the fence like you(similar in a way as i am on fence about making my own coils) and know you will say "you wont look back" and i know your right :laughing:

A vapermans agreement :laughing: you delve into fluids,i will coil building,between us all we should have the best vape going

Don't get me wrong: I'm not on the fence at all... I just know from experience that you can't miss something you never had, so I'm using that extra time I have in the mean time to complete a few other projects so I can get started on my DNA40 box mod, which will no doubt fit really well with mixing my own juices (darn... there's a hidden pun in there!)

Mine is rather boring, but it suits my tastes. My old standard has been to buy a bottle of 48mg VG-based nicotine juice and one twice as large of PG (ex. 120ml of VG and 240ml of PG) and mix them together. No flavors added. I actually enjoy the vaguely caramel-y flavor of the "unflavored" juice. I don't particularly care for the tobacco flavorings, and other flavorings take away from the sensation of "smoking" for me (never smoked a cherry/coconut cigarette ). This gives me a juice that's ~16mg/ml, which I've found is just right for me. Much more and it's too strong, much less and it's too wimpy (i.e., 24mg is too strong and below about 10mg I don't really feel anything in the way of throat hit). I've recently been experimenting with a 50/50 VG/PG mix (like 120ml of 36mg VG and 120ml of PG) for the increased vapor production, but I'm finding I have to cut it a bit with just a dash of PGA to get it to wick well in my Vivi Novas.

Other than the very first liquid with my starter kit back in 2013,i have stayed away from anything tobacco flavour deliberately. Just did not want reminded of the taste in anyway so went to cherry. It was ok,used for a while then went on patriot range blue&blackberry and mixed berry .Had all the cola and cherry colas,many flavours and no settled on just the one which is not sickly,nor looses flavour.

Yes too much VG can cause wicking issues,i use AG so same as VG,just diluted and wicks easier.

Yes,some dilute there own however its just easier to buy and even UK prices 500ml of AG is around £5...............

Just thinner so wicks easier and as my general nic concentrate is VG based(very thick viscosity) it all helps

Totally Wicked ,maybe mixed reviews but in general i have had no issues over last 2+yrs,their customer service is really good if any problems occur too.........always gives piece of mind.

So i buy 500ml of PG and 500ml of AG,tend to mix 50/50 and have a litre of ready mixed diluent at ...........well the ready :laughing:
Just add flavour and nic=job done

Forum wise,i dont tbh,odd post now and then but few and far between,i tend to have a read up for reviews on new tanks etc or watch a couple of youtube vids if a new expensive mod is out. But TW have a daily or weekly discount code,can save up to 25% off total ,which is a nice saving for free signing up and iirc X amount of posts(not many)

Okay. I've decided to give this vaping thing a go. I know I want that Kanger KBOX (where should I order it from, and what else do I need to get going?), just because it looks cool. Making my own juice sounds right up my alley as well. I just don't want to start with a "starter kit" because I don't want to end up spending MORE money, and I want to use the batteries I already have for my torches.

Is vaping really hard on batteries? I just got back from the store, and the lady behind the counter said her vaporizer cost $350. I don't want that.

I'm going to go through this forum and try to soak up some information, as I'm a total noob to this stuff.
