Yes, it's the Zebralight SC5/SC5w. 500+ lumens on a good AA rechargeable, such as an Eneloop. But you won't get that from an alkaline, or even a lithium primary, because the current drain is really high and only good NiMH rechargeables can handle it.
There are 14500 lithium-ion lights that do as well, but I don't think a 14500 is considered AA even though it's the same size.
I believe EA11.
what is the brightest 1 X 14500 LED light?
Thanks
what is the difference between lux and lumens?
what is the brightest 1 X 14500 LED light in lumens?
Thanks
Isn't that one known for flaky turbo? The Thrunite Neutron 2A V2 if 1x14500 - almost as bright as the EA11 (you'd need equipment to tell the difference on turbo), but FAR more efficient on the lower modes, and current regulated.
He has AAA (10440) that put out over 740 Lumen, so AA could do even more for example.

Nice.Yes.... my Turbo has become flaky on a NiMh, although it's still about as bright as anything else (excl SC5) on 1xNiMh. Works fine on a 14500 though.
