@IMA SOL MAN,, Delrin is easy to machine and higher temps stable material..
Have you seen Lumencraft 2x 26650 2D mag adapters.. Beautiful fit and finish. Matt even has the forethought to add outside o-ring bumpers so there's no rattling with still plenty of room for batts to breathe. Shame he doesn't make adapters for 2x 21700 C cells mags

Well if I hadn't seen 'em before, I assume I have now, if that is what you just posted.

Yes, I have that setup with Matt's 2x26650 5000 lumen Maglite upgrade kit, and it's awesome.
And I agree, a 2x21700 for C Mags would be killer, but at some point, dealing with how much current the Maglite switch can handle becomes the problem ... 6 to 7 amps, I believe.

Biggest issue with Delrin is the smell that develops months later.
What's that old, naughty joke? Only two things smell like fish. One of them is fish.... Well, in the family friendly version.... The other one is Delrin.

The Adventure Sports upgrade a couple years ago used PVC pipe and couple O rings for the lipos. It was a 2D kit so I made a solid brass D spacer. Originally I had these AA to D adaptor shown on the right that I added a wire instead of the AA. I used that until I completed the brass one.

Does having that big of piece of brass increase resistance compared to a brass rod encased in polymer?
