One of your answers is correct... I don't have any 10440's. Craig, you're too smart!

I have red, amber, green, and blue Cree lights.

Now I'm going to have to start looking for yellow (?), cyan (?), and purple (?)... not available in cree :(

Something special about lighting up the night with coherent light.

Who else can show some color?

What light is that with the amber?

I'm planning on ordering a Peak Eiger in either red or amber, the only colors I have now are a Stylus in red and my Rayovac Sportsman 1AA with 2 red and a blue.

Also, do you have specific uses for each of the colors?

This is going to be a beautiful thread!

The amber is a Fenix E1 with an XP-E dropped in. No driver modification necessary.

In fact, I have E1's with various tints...

Here's your exact colors:

Red Jetbeam Element 630 nm
Green Jetbeam Element 535 nm

Blue Fenix LD01 SS 485 nm
Amber Fenix E1 590 nm

Next up:

Nuwai TM-301X-5 (Luxeon V host)
500-505 nm (W3RC Lux V)
Should be 170 Lumen barrage of Beautiful Cyan

P.S. I guess they really don't make pure yellow power LED's. Nor purple (but they make purple lasers?):(

I had a request for the tint array picture for desktop wallpaper. Here's an updated version with the blue LD01. :)

Besides cool and neutral/warm emitters, the only color light I have is a TK10 with red filter.

This little guy has seven RGB LEDs, and they all change color randomly, sometimes slowly shifting and other times changing in an instant, each asynchronous from the other in a chaotic miasma. Turning it on in a dark room is basically like being in a Doors video..

Almost the entire hand held collection with a Yellow Glow tube, red filter PT, yellow filtered HDS EDC and most of the Photon 2 colors, and turned on in the lower right a Yellow-Orange Lux III in a Fenix L1 and Blue-Green Infinity.

I probably use the yellow filtered HDS more hours than all other flashlights combined. I find the color very soothing at night, it doesn't totally destroy my night vision and has better color rendition than red or a monochromatic yellow LED. It is not as efficient as a dedicated yellow LED but is more versatile and the low levels I use it at last months between battery changes anyway. The yellow filter is from a rubber holder and filter set that came with a 2AA Brinkmann.

Will any of the current yellow LED's handle the power from an Fenix L1D CE? I have an unpotted one and would like a multi brightness yellow flashlight.

I don't have too many colored LED lights, but here's what I have.

My 3 A2s, living in harmony:

Duelling Photon Freedoms:

And the M6. Not LED, but I think the filter is badass. Brightest red light I've seen.

With much gratitude for quick shipments from EliteLED for the Nuwai Lux-5 host (TM-301X-5) and Photon Fanatic for the Cyan Lux V W3RC, I quickly put together this high powered Cyan torch.

The emitter has a beautiful mirror-finish, whereas blue and green simply look like white dies.

Tip: To access emitter, dip the knurled part of the head in boiling hot water for 1 minute, then while still hot twist off. You might want to wear gloves (I didn't).
