    umm... Good sword steal rusts easy. The old master work katanas can rust with your finger prints. The alloys that make steel rust resistant also make them more brittle. Good for knives, bad for swords.

    I would get one of Paul Chen's swords. They are all fully functional and go from 2 or 3 hundred for his cheap ones, the Practical Katana series, up to around 1000 - 1500 for his folded steal blades. All very good quality for the price. A lot of martial artists seem to like the Kami sword, but...

    I have the same terralux led bulb in a 4D maglite. Never had any problems. Sounds like you got a bad one. I doesn't happen very often, though I have heard of a few. Sounds a bit like reverse polarity damage. Maybe someone at factory tested it with the batteries backwards? IDK

    The Freestyle is pretty small for a multitool. It only has a knife and pliers. It's as small as they come and is barely a multitool. If you really want a saw you are going to have to get a bigger multitool or else carry one separately. I prefer something a bit bigger. Like the Swiss Army...

    Fenix did a survey and there was a large majority that wanted the most used setting "medium" to be the first setting that came on.

    Are they going to do a red version for Christmas? I hand out a couple every Christmas, not to mention buying one for myself. It goes well with my burgundy pickup and the red mini swiss army knife on my keychain.

    I also hope that since this is a limited edition collector's issue that they have an R2 LED. Make it a bit better then the regular premium ones that are out.

    Hopefully we can find out we kind of stainless steal. A nitrogen steel would be cool since it can't rust, but I have no idea of the thermal characteristics or availability of nitrogen steel. Most likely they'll pick a steel based on thermal qualities and low cost. Pity.

    I thought the current 6PLED and G2LED came out last fall and that they do use Crees. The P60L uses the same Cree XR-E. 80 lumens and something like 3.5 hours to 50% in the 6PLED.
