After many problems my Novatac 120 P:thumbsdow is going back to the factory.
it doesn't work, it won't stay on, it can not be reset either. it has been a problem light whenever I needed it!

HENRY PLEASE BRING BACK HDS!!!!!!:mecry:

That's unfortunate. The NT120P has been working great for me. If you want Henry's light, he's coming out with the RA clicky that's supposed to be released next month.

Why don't they just replace it for you? That sometimes happens that we get a bad light, even with the best of manufacturers.

Good luck

The folks at Novatac have been great taking time on phone to help me with programming. The light is definitely messed up. I'd be willing to send it back so they could do a "forensic analysis" to see what went wrong.

I've never had a problem i couldn't easily fix with my own novatac, but their customer service has recieved MANY good comments around here, i think you'll really love your novatac when it's all fixed up.

Ditto.

The Novatac 120P is one of my favorite lights.

+1

Still impressed with this after several month... well actually I use the 85P, I have a new 120P in the box, never really needed to take it out. I've got a spare 85P too... Yes I went a bit crazy on this light when I saw the price increasing. The more I use it, and the more I use other lights, the more I love the NovaTac.

Hang in there- it's worth the trouble and the wait. BUT- hopefully you won't be kept waiting much longer! This light, (with the T style switch I put on after not liking the feel of the flat switch,) is one of my favorite EDC lights.

Good Luck!

I hope it gets fixed or replaced. It's the light I carry when I know I will be in total darkness or restraunts for tha low low, the 120 lumens is appreciated as well. I'm sure Novatac will make it right

there is a reason why henry and novatac have disbanded ......i would get it fixed under warranty and then sell on the MP and invest in an Ra.....my twisty is a tank, a new and improved hds

Home is not the factory, home is in your hands. Novatacs are great, sometimes problems happen. I had to return my Ra 100TR to Henry because it broke, it has been fixed and works great. I have several Novatacs I haven't had to send to the factory. Novatac will make it right.

Ditto x 2.

I bought a L1, E1B recently and the 120P is still at the top of regular EDC rotation. There's something to be said for a light that has four levels of brightness as opposed to 2 and can tail stand.

It's unfortunately that I get the flickering at low levels from high sometimes, but it hasn't affected the usefulness of the light.

And another Ditto x 2 on that.

I have several SF single cells myself as well as some other really nice lights such as the PD's from Nitecore, but the UI of the Novatac puts it in my pocket still more often than any of the others.

Even though I've put myself on the RA Clicky waiting list, I did so mainly because I'm hopeful that the RA UI is at least as good as the 120P.
However the RA Clicky turns out, I doubt if my 120P will be leaving my collection any time soon.
The only reason I haven't yet bought a second Novatac is because I'm waiting for the next version... R2 or???.

I spoke to the nice folks at Novatac, they were kind and helpful.:thumbsup:My light's going back for repair.

I kind of agree with you.
I had both HDS and Novatac120P.
It's really by a slight margin, but HDS was always more solid.
I had many shaky moments with NT120P. But never with HDS.
Of course, novatac has more improved functions, but I would go for HDS.
Just my personal bias. ;)
