Help please!
Really like the Jetbeam Jet III M BUT should I just go all out and get a Novatac 120P? The Novatac seems really nice, but very ££££ (£115 in the UK) Is it worth it over the Jet III M though? I am very tempted........
Somethings gonna be ordered tomorrow! Just need to make the right choice.
I need a light that will work when I need it to, and one that will last!

I have had a D20 which was very erratic:mad: and a Extreme SS which nearly set my jacket on fire! (not had much luck with these lights LOL)

I suppose really I want to know if the Novatec is worth all that money!
Kam.

I have neither.

The two lights are hard to compare because they are a different size, different UI, different output, and built on different intentions of use.

The Jetbeam should throw more, have more output, and is larger.

The Novatac should be tougher, have a smoother beam, and is smaller.

These two lights really are apples and oranges - you're comparing a hardcore tactical 18650 light vs a 1x123 pocket EDC. That particular Jet has only one programmable mode vs the NovaTac's four. And the M III has the mass of at least two 120Ps..

A better match against the NovaTac 120P would be either of the 1x123-powered JetBeam II series lights, the Pro and the IBS. Both of these lights have three fully programmable modes, and aren't quite as overbuilt or bulky as the M.

The Jetbeam has greater technology in the LED emitter and driver, this means better runtime and higher output. The Novatac is designed for people who really likes its design and dont expect a super bright output from a high quality light.

I would say if you need a FLASHLIGHT TO USE (not to do extreme torture test with it), and neither to have it there because it looks good, get the jetbeam.
