2-stage switch for modified G2?

I've got a Wolf Eyes D26 Cree drop-in coming, and I'm looking for a 2-stage switch to use with it in my G2 so I can have high and low modes.

I'm new to this, and I'd rather modify my existing light to make it do what I want rather than buying another one and carrying two! I know, I know, I could get a Fenix, but that wouldn't be as fun. Also, I know there's a 6-mode drop-in for sale out there, but I've already bought the Wolf Eyes drop-in and would like to stick with that since I've heard it's good.

After searching a bit through previous threads, I found this:

However, the specs say it's for incandescent bulbs only. Any suggestions?

Just checking to see whether the silence means that this wasn't noticed or rather that what I'm looking for doesn't exist...

I don't have the know-how to build my own 2-stage switch for the G2 (as described in the first post above). Anyone know where to look or what to do? Thanks in advance for any help!
