I'm interested in getting a slick pen light for shirt pocket carry in knurled SS. I prefer the most floody beam possible and with flat regulation in HP . I plan on putting a momentary switch on the light. Which one of these lights would best suit my needs? At present, I have a 3 LED Matterhorn HP that is my EDC. I am hoping I can get a "floodier" beam from one of the above. Also, what type of runtime can I expect from those choices? Would a 3 LED Fuji be the most floody? Thanks, Dave

I believe the 3 Led Fujiyama will be floodier as Baltic uses a reflector which would have a more definite hotspot than Fujiyama. Just a guess based on the 3 Led Matterhorn I have.

On a side note, I wouldn't use a 2AAA Stainless Steel for shirt pocket, might be a tad heavy. But that wouldn't refrain me from getting one as the light is pretty sleek. Maybe a better choice would be the lighter HA version or even Streamlight Stylus Pro. My 2¢. :)

I am interested in knowing if Peak has any SS lights that are knurled, other than the limited run Matties. I hope Robyn or Curt will chime in on this.

Zeruel nailed it- also- I am 99% sure that PEAK does not make/stock Knurled SS in 2 AA or 2 AAA-Smooth SS only- they may have some SINGLE AAA matterhorn lug bodies or 10180/10280 Lithium Ion rechargable SS lug bodies left if you call and ask.

Most SS bodies are made from tubing which dose not knurl well, and the smooth bodies are easy to clean from septic contamination from a medical point of view.

The Baltic Sea uses a Seoul P4 LED with a highly modified IMS 17 reflector. We could use the same reflector designed to be used with Luxeon LED but with the Seoul P4 and that would give a flood type output instead of a tight beam pattern. The difference is that we remove .030 inch from the rear of the Luxeon reflector to make it work with the P4. You could use it stock or file/sand off the rear of the reflector to your requirements for flood verses throw.

The Matt and the Fugi have the same light output pattern.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

Curt: Would the single LED or 3 LED model provide more of a flood pattern? I am interested in getting the Baltic with the cut down reflector for attaining the flood pattern. I'll also pick up a Fuji in either 1 or 3 LED depending upon your answer above. I'll call Monday to order. Thank you, Dave
