My best guess is about $45 for the Carrier+STC

I'll go and check prices with the machineshop as soon as I can but hopefully that is a good guess.

STC works with 2xC-Lion MN21 or PH5761 in my M6 (so far ?)
Not sure if 2s3p 17500 is too hot for the MN21 or the 5761 ? Less sag than C-Lions possibly ? ? ?
There may be other setups like WA1111 that would work too ?

Stll very reasonable considering you need to carve the contact boards, fabricate, and assemble everything by hand.

The STCs should be ready Thursday from the machineshop - all being well.

I have managed to make up 2 more complete carriers (6S) and should have some more done by Thursday. I anyone wants a 2S3P carrier not the standard 6S (alternative to C-Lions and for MZ-XR5) please let me know. I now have enough brass rod, springs etc. for the current interest list of Carriers.

I am not planning on an LED mod, so the 6s is pretty limited in bulb choices, unless I run it with 6AAs, then it allows the same bulb choices as the 2s3p. Fof course, that is another $60 in batteries vs $15 for eneloops.

Any opinions welcome, before I end up with both

No opinions but if you are going to use 6S AA cells then I will not cut the cell springs - AA cells are a little shorter than AW-17500 protected cells. You can always shorten the springs later if you want to use LiIons !

There is a way to retro-convert a 6s to a 2s3p but it requires a soldering iron ! ! !

Thanks for spotting that I had no way covered all the permutations in my posts above :thinking: ! ! !

You almost invented the right info - shipping for 2 carriers is (6+3)=$9 but extra carriers are $40
so $109 total

I have amended my previous posts to add the new permutations (that I can think of) but if there are any more I haven't covered then I'm sure someone will think of them.

Just etched a 2S3P PCB-pair so I just have to make up a carrier for you on the morrow

Will the 2s3p carrier be for MNxx bulbs and clones eg. FM or LF ?? ????

If so I will not add the POS spring as the lamp assembly has a spring.

Spring is for correct contact with LedZep Mods.

Let me know your usage - I will put the spring in the package just incase you want to use it at a later date.
