3c P4 upgrade suggestions needed.

Hi, I bought an Ultrafire 28w hwawys off of eBay and it is identical to this DX http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14155 The emitter in it now is to blue, maybe 7.2K and could be brighter. The size is perfect and the side mounted switch is also the way I like it. Heat shouldn't be an issue since it will be used for a quick flash.

Any suggestions on how to make it better? I am currently using alkaline cells and have 5000mah Nimh rechargeables on the way.

im 95% sure if you put a P7 led in there it will work.

probably 3 times as bright as the original led.

Thanks, I found a P7 mounted on a star that fits for $16 and will give that a try. There are some rechargeable C's on eBay that are rated at 9000mah, is that possible?

good batteries are worth a few extra $$ ..... dont cheap yourself.

its possible cheaper batteries are 9000, but its also possible the claim is exaggerated.
