A few questions about SureFires...

I have been getting into collecting Surefires and now own 4 of them; E1B, E2DL, C2L, and a G2L. I really like the E2DL but find it to be a little long. I noticed that the regular E2D is shorter and more pocket friendly. Does someone make an after market LED that will fit the regular incan E2D?

Also, is the aluminium bezel on the G2L the same bezel that comes on the Surefire 6P? Thanks for your help!

I believe there was a small run a while back but have never heard of any myself. And yes, it is the same bezel.

Welcome to an expensive habit, but the SF's speak for themselves! I started out buying a G2-OD (Gen-1) in Korea about 6 years ago...now i own 15 SF's (and a few other "brands"). As far as your question:

The bezels on the G2L's are basically the same type of anodize, but the color is a "Duller/Toned Down" non-reflective black, not the shiny spit-shine of the 6P, making the G2L a better choice for soldiers, when light discipline may be involved.

I know Optics HQ sells the TLS head upgrades for the E-series. They are very bright and nicely made, but unfortunately will add to the overall length of the light as they are larger than the stock head.

Not quite. The 6P bezel is the Z44-BK which features a glass window rather than polycarbonate (Lexan)

You could also try to find a black KL4 head (from the scoutlight) and mod it with a P7 or other LED of your choice.....http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=205320
