AAA head has 2X knurling

It seems like the machine shop ran the knurling around at least 2 times, and during the second go around, the head shifted so I have a set of knurling over another set. Does anyone else have this? Is this a rare occurance?

the knurling on my AAA is nice.. just one band of scales..

maybe yours did get reknurled! haha.. does it bother the grip any?
