Here's a copy of an email I received from Allsman Enterprises:
"SUPER BOWL is this Sunday. For you football fans make sure you watch the half time show, which will prove to be one of the best yet. Our friends at Arc Light EFX in Los Angeles and a long time provider of lighting effects for many past Super Bowl's are again the creative suppliers of this years half time lighting. AE Xenides will be a part of the half time show.
So get your munchies ready, pull up a seat and watch the show."

I did miss the first half, I only saw Tom Petty's end performance. The crowd was holding little hand lights, definitely not mini HID's though...
