I have a Surefire 2.5" SRTH that I'm using with an MN15 lamp assembly. I'm fine with the output (though I wouldn't mind more) but not with the oblong beam shape. Is there an alternative lamp assembly from either Surefire or Lumens Factory that would have a rounder beam without giving up the tight hotspot?

SF N2 if you can find it. It only draws ~1.1-1.2A, and has a round hotspot. Very pretty beam compared to the MN15.
The Lumens Factory HO-M3T is like a N2 on steroids, with a larger, brighter spot, and brighter spill as well. It draws ~2A, so runtime will be shorter.
The HO-M3T, along with the HO-M3 for the standard bezel, are my favorite incan bulbs regardless of manufacturer, and I highly recommend them.
