Hi CPF,

I want to share my other (second) HID Build for your Entertainment and Inspiration.

Host is again a 6 Volt Lamp, this one:
http://www.amazon.de/dp/B002UXQZLI/

It is buildet again with my LiIon Harvested Laptop Cells, but this time with balance connector.

The Stock Features
-Reading Light( 8 x 5mm white LEDs)
-Blink Light on the rear Side ( Incan removed and cheap cree + reflector inserted)
- Carger Plug ( Used now togeter with the balance connector)

are still usable.

To keep this running i have to ad a extra switch to seperate the 18650 battery pack from the stock "Mainboard".

The inscription is made with my blue ray laser and black Pen, but late in the night and wrong it is only 3S2P

Only really tight fit possible, no batterie pack possible.
To put everything together i hotglue the LiIon on the ballast.
On the rearside of the handle is the Hi /Low beam switsch.

The fan pull the air trough the ballast batterie pack and blow direkt on the back of the china hid bulb.
In the back and around the reflector i drill some air vent holes, protected by some stainless steel mircomesh.

The bulb is glued in with adjusting the focus while the 5min epoxy is curing.
In this light fitting with the housing for sure red glow powder, zinc red from Glow Inc.

Dude, nice work! I'm very impressed with the way you packaged everything in there. Not a cubic centimeter to spare.

Nice mod!,

you may have inspired me to get a new ballast for my 12v light (after I poofed it I hid it in the closet)

Yes is really tight fit in there, not good for easy and fast repairs but right now its still working.

Have it outdoor today for a walk, 30 minutes runtime on low with small use of the high mode.

@spc

 take care

Daniel
