Anyone ever build a trilux in KL5 head?

Just wondering, as I have a wonderful L5 sitting on my shelf right now that is just screaming for some extra attention. With seeing all of Milky's mods that he does to other Surefire bezels, I was toying with the idea of having some CREE's or SSC P4's thrown in the KL5 head.

This will be a project I do down the road, as I am currently commited to two custom lights that I have to pay for first. In the meantime, I figured I would see what you guys had to say....

Off the top of my head, I am thinking a trilux of some sort, and would like output to be at least 200-300 lumens and looking for around 2hrs. of runtime with my stock 2-cell L5 body. Also, it would be nice to have two levels of output. I think Milky can handle this....you? :)

I too have been craving a Trilux mod for one of the Kl3 or Kl5 heads. I'm sure space is already at a premium in this series of heads but the thought of so much light in such a confined package makes me really want one! I have 3 SSC P4 and a SHARK DRIVER that I believe would be perfect for this particular mod. All I need is a few reflectors and more practice. I was thinking milling down just one of the sides on all three of the reflectors so that upon looking directly at the top of the light, the shape of the reflector would have a three leafed clover design. The emitters would be pretty close to each other so the reflector issue, heat, and limited space seem to be the limiting factors. I wish I knew what reflectors would be good for this. Are there any pics out there of the KL3 & KL5 heads taken apart? I've never seen one opened up before. Anyone else have any thoughts on such a light?

That's very limited space, in the Kl6/m3/k2 head their is barely enough room for 3 mc17's but with careful milling I think you might be able to do it, you would want to cut the touching endges in the middle as flat as possible, and the outer edges. it woudl be hard work and you might not get it to fit, but for 200 lumens a cree at 1amp or an ssc at 1 amp should do you.
