Just curious here? Just modded my Coast tactical focus 7438 with a KLC8 and wondered how easy it is to get to the emitter of this light. It takes a 14500 lion battery and I think it would be a great host for the SSC or KLC8.

I suspect is has the Lux 3 and would make a great KLC8/SSC swap! Kinda pricey tho. I have tried a 14500 in my Coast digi tac 2 for a few seconds but it started to smell so I stopped. Still works fine tho. WOW was it bright tho!
