Anyone used a MCR Super Brain 989 charger?

I've been looking for a good charger that I can use for pack charging and found the superbrain 989. It doesn't have a balancer, but for the price, it seems to do more than anything else in the price range. It also works as a variable voltage psu and comes with a 12v power supply(unlike 99% of hobby chargers).

Hello Smopoim,

I haven't heard a lot about the Superbrain chargers. When Li-Po packs first came out, there was some controversy over their method of charging, but they quickly straightened that out.

The newer units seem to work well. It is nice that it comes with a power supply.

I've not ordered one yet, but i've found they go from 100 to 125 on ebay and for the price I dont think i can get a charger that does more including psu. I really like the variable voltage psu. I think it would be useful for finding the vF of leds and stuff.
