I can get a few sets of 4 aa, 4 aaa, and a charger for 8$ ea locally. While I don't need the aaa or the charger, its like getting them for free with the aa's.
Are these cheap Chinese cells even worth using? They are 1800mah so I though they would be decent for longer life. fyi, its this set

They are made by mazel with polaroid's name slapped on them. I get the impression they are just cheap generic Chinese cells.
For 8$ a set, are they going to be usable and last long enough for the price?
