Are these Dynacharge NiCD or NiMH?

The packaging really sucks...

Basically not much information is given except 1.25v, caution don't mix-shortcircuit-installbackwards, and that it's Duracell Canada from Mississauga.

Basically I have no freaking clue what types these are. I didn't buy them.

I'm a noob about battery specs, but these haven't been used in 5 years+ would they be dead anyways?

I have a duracell NiMH charger, would these be recommended to charge on it once the type is known?

Hello Erichau,

Welcome to CPF.

They are most likely NiMh cells, but I don't know that for sure.

After 5 years they probably are no longer vibrant.

You can charge them up and give them a try and see what happens.

There are some of those in my house. They haven't been used in forever but they were always charged on our NiCad only charger. I would say NiCad.

I had a set of Dynacharge rechargeables + charger, that was about 25 years ago. They were nicad. Maybe 900 mah capacity?
