Well, got these a couple weeks back, but didn't have time to do any beamshots.
Just a bit of background for those who might not be familiar. the Auroralite mod is a ceramic bi-pin socket/alu reflector/glass lens, and i have a TL-3 lamp in it. the H22A BHC is a big head machined for the minimag with a McGizmo 27L (i think) alu reflector set in it.
The G&P Scorpion R500 has a huge thread on it, so do take a look there.
Here are some quick and dirty shots of the lights.
Here are the beamshots, feel free to go to the links on my sigline for more lights. =)

Auroralite minimag mod, w/H22A BHC, Flood, Bike (i actually messed up on this, and the BHC is capable of a much creamier flood, as in the corridor pics. i'm too lazy to redo it tonight though, so this will have to do for now)

[i didn't take this beamshot the last time i was there for some reason... didn't have the original head with me this time, so couldn't redo it]

I like the G&P R500. For about $100, it's an excellent deal. The hotspot is slightly oval shaped, which, as any A2 fan can tell you, means it is optimized for throw. The transition from spot to spill is also creamy smooth. Compared to my old Pila GL4, it has a lot more throw, although its spill is slightly less (though not significant enough to make a practical difference). Its throw has a good punch, while its flood is huge. I don't have comparison shots for the other lights but here's a relatively blurry pic (sorry didn't bring a tripod) to show just how huge the flood/sidspill is:
On the H22A BHC, it gives a much "better" beam, in that it has far fewer artifacts. Above beamshots tell the story.
