Minimag aa and aaa on ultimate lithium?

I couldn't find a thread or answer for this. Would two energizer ultimate lithium primaries in aa or aaa work fine with the stock bulb in a minimag? Would it be too much voltage or shorten bulb life?

There's a thread around here somewhere about that. Archi used to be a whiz at remembering that stuff. But if I recall correct it will shorten the bulb lifespan in thr minimag. Not from months to minutes or that sort of thing but (pulling numbers from the sky here) from 72 hours to 16 or that sort of thing.

It's not like I'll be using up expensive L91's frequently, but if it's viable as the need arises is all I'm after. I have eneloops for regular use and L91's for backup/emergency. No point in storing a bunch of untrustworthy alkaleaks.

I can say for a fact:

- Definitely much Brighter

- Definitely Shorter bulb life

I tried the aaa minimag with lithium's on last nights walk. Definitely a lot brighter and whiter tint. Pretty nice actually.
