Beam shots of the new Jetbeams

I just got a Jet II IBS and love it. Planning to order a few more Jet lights as soon as hurricane Ike passes.
I'm really liking the looks of that Jet III Pro ST.
 
Thanks for the links trucker, it is a good review of good lights. I used the translated one - the wording is funny in some places, but I can certainly get the idea. I think I'd be very happy with either of these.

Hello trucker1964....Welcome to CPF! Much thanks for the link to the three Jetbeams. The beam shot comparisons tells me that the Jetbeam III Pro is the model that I want and not the Ultra as I had thought..Small/compact medium range with a large hot spot.
 
I have the Jet-III Pro with SMO and it certainly throws quite well for its size even though my only other thrower is a RaidFire Spear (smo). I kind of wish my Jet-III Pro was with a OP instead so as to have a nicer beam though, even with a bit of loss of throw. I certainly do like the compact ST though it is still a bit bigger edc size compared to a 1xAA or 1xCR123 light.
 
@TRUCKER1964 Hmmm did your ultra come with SMO?
[EDITED]I ask because they were sent out with OP,as far as I have been informed.If that is the case comparing lights with OPand SMO,will not ring true.
You may have to do another test when the SMO is available for the ULTRA :thumbsup:

The pictures seem to show OP for the Ultra and ST and SMO for the original Pro. Yep, the descriptions say OP for the Ultra and ST when it is possible to get SMO for all three.

If you look close enough, you can see a dark ring just outside the spot of the original Pro as it has a SMO, something I do not like when in a small enough room.

ok,you have spot corona and spill,no one here will say they see the corona in real use.

Hey Titan1833. Those aren't my lights. I just posted the link to the beam shots. As far as I can tell it is someone in Germany. I think the Ultra has a OP reflector.:)

No problem here,it is just that I got my ultra without SMO,I'm saying ?what if the ultra had a SMO. :popcorn:
