I need to spend some money to take my mind off this ******* virus... so here I am on CPF lol!

Haven't ever bought a big battery light before - therefore I need to get one asap, right... think I've settled on the 21700 (better than 26650, or am I wrong?) but need advice on which light covers these :-

1) Compact Size - about 6 inches or less (ideally 4-5 inches)
2) Atleast 1500 Lumens (ideally over 2000 Lumens)
3) Built-In Charging (ideally USB-C)
4) Tail Standing
5) Solid Reliability

Had a quick look around and found these so far... what would y'all recommend, or is there something even better I should check out instead?

Well, I'm not a olight fan. Just can't stand them. Out of the ones you mentioned I have the klarus XT21X and can vouch that it is one hell of a light.

I really depends on your needs. A quad LED is more floody with higher lumens, but a single LED will have better throw with less lumens.
I have the Acebeam EC65, but I EDC my Fenix PD36R which has been a great all around flashlight.
I also have the Olight Warrior X Pro, but not my first choice.

Mechforce turbo has some good qualities.. 7075, Tool steel bezel, H17 driver w/Lucidrv-2..

How easy is the tail switch to thumb operate?

I would like to see the company offer more choice of emitters, XPL Hi, Osram W1 or W2
i get the feeling they're just getting started. When the switch was new and stiff quite difficult, but as it loosens up thumb use becomes much easier (at least to me)
This was my first experience with 219CT emitters. I want them in all my lights now, they're MAGIC! A true clean neutral white and high CRI colors that pop!

Why don't you like the Olights dude? The proprietary battery and charging?

Yeah Klarus looks pretty dang good! Does the XT21X stand on its tail, or could it be modded to do so?

I realize you've been here a long time, but posting lots of commercial links is unnecessary and tends to look like spamming / shilling.

Would you also mind toning down the coarse language a bit ? These are tough times for everyone, but we'd rather not lower the bar any further on the level of discourse.

Thanks for understanding.

It's mainly olights YouTube marketing. I've had a couple and they both failed and olights for the most part said"deal with it". Yes, the xt21 will kinda tail stand but it's not very stable.

Those are the ones with the rotating 45 degree heads right? Just like nicron.

no tail standing, but the Nitecore tm 9k is much brighter than all listed.

What about the Luminitop FW21 Pro? Only thing is it doesn't have onboard charging.
