I have many of the lights that have been mentioned, but the Peak is the one I pick up when I want an AA light. Under $50.00 Stainless, brass, alum strong potted electronics bright one level diff configurations (pocket, tail standing, momentary switch) uses any AA battery One thing I know about the Peak is that it's always going to work. And it's simple. Two good things.
