+1 for the E1B with Z68 tailcap and the F04 Diffuser. A low of 5 lumens and high of 80, perfect size and 1 cell. Very hard to beat. IMHO. Just my 2 cents.

Small, two mode, and can wear bezel down/up!!

E series, all of them are fantastic. But most generalistic use, the more balanced, the fastest UI, is the L1, and it gets my vote for a single flashlight Surefire EDC.
