you meant surefire M6 on right and Quad XR-E on left...amazing! Does the Quad XR-E equal the M6 in throw?

Ah yes Mac, another work of art. Like the multiple levels as well! Wish I could see the reflector centering holder better though...

Nice, What is the runtime at 1a? 35-40 minutes or so?

14760 = 1100mah

The light uses a 4s2p battery configuration so you have 14.8v @ 2200mah. High would give you approx 2 hours of runtime.

:goodjob: as always Mac....i'm curious to see your Custom centering rings :whistle:

I already posted this in the original Quad XR-E light a few weeks ago. The centering ring captures the outer diameter of the reflector and has a hole in the middle the same diamter as the XR-E metal ring. The 27XR reflectors have a very large hole and where meant to be used differently. The picture gives you an example on the 19XR.

Great looking light, Mac! :ohgeez: Love the tint too, very warm, almost incan-like. :) Your attention to detail is exceptional, shoot, it always is! :thumbsup:

:paypal: :takeit: (just kidding, my wife would kill me, she even does not know the price of my Microfire) :grin2:

Crazy stuff, as always. :bow::bow::bow:

Have to win the lottery.........

hey mac, do you wanna make me a 17mm reflector Cree centering unit?? Or do I have to make my own?

The 17mm reflectors aready have a centering ring incorperated into the design. Also question like this that have nothing to do with the original post would be best if asked via PM to not clutter up the original thread topic.
