Anyone tried this knife?

Buck Code 3 CrossLock : http://www.knifeworks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=7515

This knife looks to be a superb EDC/Utility for a reasonable price.

It has most of what I want in an EDC: two 3" blades, one serrated and one plain edge, both one-hand-opening with liner locks.

I've come to really like using a knife with two separate blades - one plain edge and one serrated - rather than a knife with one combo edge (part plain and part serrated) blade.

This knife should handle 99% of cutting chores commonly encountered. The plain edge spearpoint should be easy to keep sharp. The sheepsfoot would be a PITA to sharpen, but shouldn't need it that often.

If I could modify this knife to produce my ideal EDC, I would:
-add a stainless pocket clip.
-change the plain edge spearpoint to a Wharncliffe.

The serrated sheepsfoot looks about perfect as is.

I've got an older version called the Crosslock.Same setup, but with plastic handles. I like the setup. Use a Sharpmaker to sharpen it, real easy.

Thanks for the response, guyg.

I've always liked Buck knives and bought a fair number of them over the years. But, for a long time it seemed that Buck sort of got stuck in the past. Buck wasn't innovative in offering new models with better ergonomics and lighter weight, so I kind of lost interest in buying Buck knives.

Glad to see that Buck is bouncing back with some innovative knives at reasonable prices.

It is nice to see Buck being part of the future in design ,etc. But Wrangler and Levi jeans are always in style.
