Today at lunch I had a "Chicken wasabi wrap"
It was quite tasty.

Tuesday's night dinner:
Chicken breast seasoned with salt and pepper, and Ginger.
Sauteed, in lime juice, and when needed the pan was deglazed with white wine.
Accompanied by a bag of frozen "Steam Fresh" microwavable "Summer veggies".
A quick and easy one pan meal. The veggies cook in the bag in the micro-oven.
A thin coating of olive oil makes the frying pan easy to clean afterwards.

The past three nights it was just my grandson and me for dinner. He grilled 0.4 lb 85% lean burgers each night. He seasoned them with salt and pepper.

Mine had munster and blue cheeses, and freshly sliced tomato, and a fresh corn on the cob grilled.

Of course accompanied by the obligatory glass of red wine. :)

We're thinking that we need to change the dog's food. He may have developed an allergy to to the dry kibbles, we have been feeding him.

My grandson grilled some steaks for us.
Grass fed beef.

IF you zoom in, to the price, they cost less than a couple of Big Macs.

Cooked to 155 F.
Still nice and juicy.

Our favorite barbecue restaraunt closed late last year since the old dude had health issues. His daughter did banquets and catered in the interim. Enough people asked her to reopen to the public that she did last month.

Clockwise: peas n carrots, chicken noodle casserole, southern fried chicken, and smoked, chopped pork shoulder.

Not shown; corn bread and hush puppies.

The sweet tea is lightly sweetened, not that brown sugar water like many restaraunts.
