If you were considering adding a second charger to go along with the C9000, would you get another C9000, or a BC-900. Do you think the combination would give you a little more flexibility? This combo gives you 8 charging bays, or do you have something else to consider?
Disregard cheaper chargers, as we probably have a box full of them already.

The Maha C808 might be a better companion. The C9000 already does everything the LaCrosse BC-900 does and much more. With the Maha C808, you get the ability to charge 8 cells at a time from AAA to D, plus condition and soft charge. That'll give you 12 bays for AA/AAA and 8 more for AA/AAA/C/D.

I have the LaCrosse BC-900 and the Maha C808 and I am considering getting the C9000 because it does much more then the BC-900.

+1

The C9000 first for all of it's break-in, testing and maintenance capabilities (and of course, charging ;) ), and then the C808 if you have a need to charge lot's more batteries.
The BC-900 is redundant against the C9000 and doesn't do quite as much.

Personally, when I have a need to charge more batteries than the C9000 can keep up with, I'm pretty sure I'll go with a second C9000.

I have a Maha MH-C9000 with a Maha C800S for the second charger - 8 cell - so far works fine for me.
