Charger for CR123

Those look like RCR123A cells, I'll bet the merchant didn't post it correctly. They do mention "CR123A rechargable", which in essence is RCR123A

Regardless, I have no who manufacturers those cells/charger. If it were me, I'd buy a name brand, one that I've read about here on these forums. The WF-139 charger and AW RCR123A cells, for example. Although there are better chargers, the WF-139 does a good job and the AW cells are some of the best out there, IMO.

Li-Ion cells can be dangerous if the cells are not protected and if the charger isn't up to spec.

I would not buy from that reseller as he is obviously not well enough informed to provide you with any level of technical advice should you have questions or problems. The sales page there is riddled with errors. That type of sales thread is very likely to cause confusion for users of CR123 and RCR123 cells. It's very irresponsible to have a list of PRIMARY non-rechargeable cells listed as being "compatible." A novice reading between the lines there is likely to burn his house down.

After my last post, I emailed the seller suggesting that he replace CR123A with RCR123A in his listing as people may get the impression that standard, primary CR123A cells can be used with this charger, which could lead to a very dangerous situation.

Regarding the technical aspects in the listing, I agree, very minimal information. We don't know whether the cells are protected. If they're not, there's no warning about overdraining, etc.
