Coast Led Power

I recently bought a Coast 7736V2 power chip Tactical use light and I'm wondering about their claims:

3.44 max wattage
65 Lumens
100 Hours battery life

All this from 3 AAA batteries.

Am I being too sceptical?

No, you are not too sceptical. Take a search about teir lights (many threads here), not worth the money.

Welcome to CPF, FLUXU. Those claims may be inflated, but if your light is the one with focusing ability sold at Lowe's for about $50 there are quite a few folks here that like its performance. I believe you can find much discussion of this light somewhere in the reviews section.
