OK, I just noticed this puppy on the Coleman website. Thanks to the discount mentioned by blacklight and others, OUR price is about half. Even still: does anyone have one, and care to share your opinion?

I have the OTHER Coleman spot, a stupid 15 min SLA 55w halogen job, and probably not as good as this LED version. I do like it; I am ashamed to admit it, but it is the torch I use most often because it is so stupid bright, and I can just stick in the wall socket when I am done, and rarely need more than 10 minutes of light.

I haven't seen one yet. For the price it looks rather tempting. Hmmmmm. Tempting...

Doubt it will throw incredibly well, but it should put out a decent amount of light with 3 crees. :D

I have the Coleman 530 Lumen CREE XR-E LED spotlight, I bought it at Sears for $60 a few weeks ago. It is a Tristar configuration LED flashlight. I am absolutely blown away by it! It has a perfect round daylight color beam with a brighter ring of spill than my 35 watt HID spotlight. I like it a lot more than my HID. It can illuminate trees 1/4 of a mile away to give you an idea of its throw. It out throws my 1 million candlepower spotlights.

It has an amazing runtime of at least two hours (mine has never dimmed after a long use). I like the fact that it can be used while plugged into either of its chargers to extend its runtime. It comes with a car charger and a standard house charger.

It looks 5 times brighter than my 150 lumen Task Force CREE LED flashlight.

I highly recommend it!
