Hwo fast do you have to be with the writing to avoid being seen in the picture yourself?

Not that fast. Pretty normal, as if spraying it with a spray paint can.

I would have had to do it over about 5 times until I got it to look right writing backwards! Nice :thumbsup:

I got my new L1 just for this purpose. Well actually, this is my excuse for the L1. My avatar is an example of some of the stuff I've done. Some people like to call it light graffiti. Personally, some of my favorites are when I'm partially visible but blurred.
Unfortunantly, it's been raining really hard, so my hobby is on hiatus. I'm almost tempted to do this in the rain.

The one i posted is mirrored (flipped along the horizontal) cause i messed up. But its not too hard to write mirrored, we did a few other ones and it was fine.
And nice bulb. I only have a red led light. I might make a white one with a momentary switch just for this.

What's cool about this artwork style is that it looks so organic. The different dwell times present at different points along the stroke produce a pleasant continuum of shades.
