When I received my fenix T1 just a week ago, I was realy excited to try it out,
cause I remember when i got my first, and until then only, high power led light, a fenix L1D-CE. The amount of light that the litle L1D produced was simply stunnig.

I was expecting a similar sensation when turning on my T1, because, 225 lumens is quite a lot more then te 90 lumens form the L1D-CE.

But, allas, no such feeling. It was bright, realy realy bright, still is btw. but i just wasn't amazed. I toyed with it for a while, comparing the two, but still no euforic feelings.

I guess it's a once in a lifetime feeling, your first cree...

But I'm not complaining, i lost my creeginity to a good light, slender, not too tall, helpfull, never a headache, ...

The human perception of light is logarithmic, which means in order for you to perceive something as being twice as bright, it actually has to be *four times as bright*. So the next big leap over your L1D will require ~400 lumens.

To fully appreciate your T1's 225 lumens, relax in a dark area (no more light than a nightlight) and let your eyes get fully adjusted to the darkness, enough so that you could walk around. Then turn the T1 on turbo and point it at the ceiling - there's the euphoria of 200+ lumens.
