I'm kind of new to DIY flashlights and I'm currently making what will be my first DIY flashlight. It's going to be a front- and back-light for my bike. I think I've found some pieces which I can use as casing for the led drop-ins, but I can't seem to find anything that will fit the batteries and the switches. Basically what I need is one small rectangular box of some kind that should fit four buttons and one rectangular box that should fit the two 4x AA battery holders. As it's supposed to be attached to my bike it should be of plastic or some other material that can withstand water and dirt. I've got somewhat limited amounts of tools so I think my best bet is to buy something (DX or a "regular" local store would be nice). Thought about making the cases in wood as I've got enough tools for that, but then water would be a big problem.
Generally when making things myself I find that getting the appropriate casing is the hardest part and the thing that most often stop me from realizing an idea so general tips on the topic would also be nice :)

What country are you in? Digikey and the like will ship overseas and many countries have local electronics distributors that carry that kind of stuff.

Those boxes look really (and cheap). Unfortunately RadioShack don't seem to ship internationally so it's not a option for me...
