Has anyone tried these? They rank third on SilverFox's NiMH shootout so I bought them a few months ago to try. I can't tell if it's my P7 light (Mag 2D host, 6xAA) or the batteries but they have a very high self-discharge. I can load 6 new Duracells in the light, never turn it on except for an initial 5 second check. Then a week or two later, the cells are showing less than 1.0 volts.

The duracells are hit and miss. When they are good they are really good. The bad ones usually self discharge very quickly, or have a very low capacity. Unfortunately, Out of 32 cells that I have purchased recently, Ive had 8 bad ones.

It seems that the defective ones usually present themselves on the first discharge.

This has just been MY experience. Im sure there are other variables that Im not considering.

Stay away from the Duracells 2650 period. They are crap. My 4 AA 2650 self discharge to flat within a day

yup pretty much. In fact it has self discharged severely to the point that my battery tester is having trouble testing.

The led's blinks and gets dimmer dimmer. wow talk about self discharge.

This tester is very sensitive too. Normally a discharged battery the tester is able to do a load test before it reports how much charge is left in the cell.

This 2650 battery is so weak that the tester can't even do a load test to report back.

This tester is not suppose to have all 5 led's blink repeatedly like that. Normal operation is that it blinks once and goes off for 1 second and comes back on and that is your final results. Its a 5 led tester, each led representing 20%

The history of these batteries that they were used in the 15 minutes like maybe 6 cycles in them but then I stop using that charger after I got my Lacrosse BC-9009 or 900 charger.

These cells are quite new too. Moment out of its package went to the 15 min charger for the first 6 times. They still charge, they still perform especially using them right away after they are charged. But they won't hold unfortunately. These cells got damaged in a strange way. Resistance is still low as the 15 minute charger has not rejected them yet but this rapid self discharge is just crazy. Something happen internally of these cells that is causing this.

You think its a bad batch or damaged??. That's way too soon. These cells had a very very very short lifespan. Didn't even reach to 20 cycles.
