E-series Dimensions

Hi guys,

I carefully measured a 2xCR123 Surefire battery tube I have, made a CAD model from it.

Thought some might be interrested. All measurements are in mm (it seems the parts were designed in mm). I used a Mitutoyo caliper and only rounded measurements within 0.01mm (less than 0.005").

I was slightly surprised that the weakest areas of the tube are quite thin, as little as 0.6mm :shrug:

As you can see the OD has not beed shaped into anything. The threaded parts have their max diameter quoted, I have no mean to measure their min diameter.

Now if anyone would be kind enough to share more measurements with all of us, please do here

I don't have any common E-serie compatable head or tailcap to measure... I'd love to see XR-19 aleph head measurements, aleph tailcap etc.
