E1B diameter less then 22mm????

I just received in the mail the Fenix Headband that holds two flashlights. I was planning on using it with my 6P's, but they don't fit they are too fat. It did fit my E1e perfectly, so my guess is if the E1b has the same diameter as all E series Surefires it will work. I looked at the surefire website, but couldn't find info on it.

The packaging for the Fenix Headband say its designed for the 18 to 22 mm flashlights.

I am about to purchase a E1b for this set-up for $99 at omniexpress and need help figuring this out.

I just did a quick measurement with my cheapy plastic calipers: the continuous diameter area below the clip attachment is just a hair over 20mm. The widest spot near the head is about 28mm.

I am interested in the headband as well, but do you suppose to tighten/clamp it at the head or the body?
