Hey guys... I found my old Energizer ACCU Universal Charger in a storage box.

It looks like this one...

Is it useful for anything?

I recently purchased a Titanium MD-3000 for my 12000 mAH cells and it seems to work great. :) I wonder if this old energizer charger would even be worth using with say... AA eneloops... or am I safer using my Titanium MD-3000?

Thanks!

I have a couple of those sitting in a box, somewhere. I don't recall whether or not they are simple timed chargers, but they they do require charging in pairs. I suspect you're better off sticking with the Titanium MD-3000. The ACCU might be okay if you have any crap cells that won't charge in smart chargers.

YMMV.

Oooh learned something... didn't know some cells wont charge in a smart charger. :)

Depends somewhat on the charger. For example, I have some old cells that both the Maha MH-C9000 and Sanyo NC-MQNO5U reject due to high internal resistance. They still work fine on my ancient low-draw transistor radios, so I keep them around and use an old C.Crane charger and/or Energizer ACCU CHM4AA on them. The C.Crane is a somewhat smart charger, but the CHM4AA is strictly timed.
