Exactly when were the REGULATED 24W Boxer released?

I'm looking for info on the regulated and the unregulated version of the 24W Boxer. need to know when the regulated ones were released.

Can you tell from the serial number if a particular Boxer is the regulated or the unregulated version?

Even the very early runtime and output graphs shared by CPFers when the light was first released, indicated some form of regulation although it wasn't very flat.
