Fenix L2D in natural finish??

I've e-mailed the fenix-store, inquiring about such a thing (a Fenix L2D Rebel in natural finish) with no response, so far that is. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything. I'm planning on a hunting trip next month and I'm holding off on the purchase untill I can confirm whether such a thing is in the works. I've even considered the P3D because of this, but just can't make myself convert to 123's for one flashlight. Thanks in advance for your coments.

I don't think there was a Natural L2D ever. But you could buy a natural P2D or a P3D and run it on rechargeables.

I have been waiting for a natural version of the L2D ever since it came out. Cree or Rebel. I'll take whichever. I want an L2D but am still waiting. I don't want black! If they haven't released a natural by now, they prolly don't intend to. Looks like I won't be getting an L2D.

Exactly! I was thinking of posting this exact topic recently. Natural color anodizing is much better than the black color, I just don't see why they haven't used this color by default for all their lights.

They just moved to a new warehouse or something over the weekend. I'd expect a slight delay on the email replies.

I've looked for natural finish fenix lights with each product release. I was interested in a natural L1D/L2D combo and inquired first of David and then of Fenix.

On July 6th, I emailed Fenix-Store and received a reply suggesting that natural L2D's would be available mid to late July 2007.

Then on August 18th, Elly at Fenix service replied to my inquiry with this: "As far as I know, we have not any plan to release nature L1D or L2D flashlights."

I'd still like to see them in natural but broke down and bought and L2D on BST. I can put my natural P2D head on the L2D body and get "half a natural":mecry:
