Fenix LD10+ (R4)

Hello Asthmatic their is lots of great info on the LD10 R4 just use the search box at the top of any CPF page. The best AA battery would either be the NiMh rechargeable like the Sanyo Eneloop or similar NiMh brands, also the Energizer lithium is good but I would stick to NiMh.

To get you started check out the link below of selfbuilts review of both the LD10 and LD20 R4 with runtimes on different battery's.

As already noted, NIMH batteries will be your best bet. In your readings you will come across post referring to 14500 li-ion batteries. They can also be used BUT you lose all levels except turbo. Also, use sparingly since it can get hot if used continously.

If want something obtusely expensive, then split a CR-V3.
A 3.0 volt primary 14500 cell.
The only benefit to be had is on turbo, but if you are a 'turbo junkie', then use a 14500 LiIon, and just don't run it that long (if you can't comfortably hold it, then it is too hot)

Energizer L91, of if you can find them, the Duracell Lithium primary AA's

Ni-Zn over Eneloops if you want better turbo performance
