It's just released for free to promote the upcoming movie of the same name. Duno about the game turned movie but game itself is pretty good. It's a horror/shooter game, and let's just say it sure earned its "M" rating. They say it's ad supported but I have played through almost half of the game without seeing anything.

Oh yeah, in the game you actually need to use a flashlight to get around, and find batteries to keep it on. (well unless you cheat and turn gamma all the way up)
