I have here a Surefire U2 with a fancy new Cree MC-E emitter under the hood. She works great and looks new. I'd keep it, but I have already have a Milky U2x2. $300 $250 *SOLD* shipped CONUS

How bright is it? Does it have the stock driver?

The driver has to be stock otherwise the lights' selector ring wouldn't work.
Output looks at least to be double that of stock, probably more.

I would be very interested in a DIY on how to do this. I have a U2 coming, and would like to upgrade it.

Please post your thoughts on it when you have tried it out. You could start your own thread. I am interested in having one of my U2's set up wit an MC-E one of these days, and appreciate all of the info I can get.
