I got some good use out of my 3 million cp vector spotlight. Our house is backed up to the backside of an elementary school where there are basketball courts, and baseball fields where quite often, people will go when school is not in session and do things like fly model planes, practice basketball, baseball, etc.. Well one night at about 1am, I was awakened to the sound of skateboards banging around and alot of yelling and screaming. So, i thought, how can i get rid of these kids.. So I grab my spotlight (aka "the beast"), jump in my truck on which i have a PA. So i drive around to the front of the school, go around to the back to where I am in full view of them at about 50 yards away (at this point they have no clue). So I turn on my parking lights, blast them with The Beast and blared a siren sound over the PA. I've never seen anyone run as fast as those kids did trying to run away.

Thought i'd share.

That's funny. Geesh, 10-15 years ago (I'm 34 now) I would have thought what an a$$hole, now I think it's funny.

I was forced to illuminate a neighbor's backyard (a few blocks away) with my 15MCP Thor on the 4th of July around 1am when they continued the firework festivities. It seems that fireworks at this hour aren't much fun when you have "manufactured daylight" focused on you. :grin2:

I can see spotlights and sirens getting one's attention!

Nice use of some lumens. Big throwers are fun aren't they? :) I get more enjoyment using them than my LEDs

very much so indeed

Every so often I house sit a place next to a park which sometimes gets noisy drunks hanging out at 1am in the weekends. Using my 100W rechargeable spotlight on them from an upstairs window gives them a very clear message to move on. Very handy devices. (But so are cordless phones and mobiles to call the police with.)
