Going to use 2 D sized NiMH and curious what a good boost driver around 1000mA could use the 2.4 volts and drive a SSC P4.

Obviously looking for one that can suck the most juice out of the batteries and stay in regulation.

Any single mode boards?

should have mentioned that first, not a huge fan of multi level etc.

How does it work though? Good runtime witht he low voltage batts?

+1 for DX Driver, I used lots of them Problemless

DX 3W 19-Mode Universal Regulated Circuit Board

EDIT:

if you want to make it ONE MODE follow this guide

Wow thanks for that.

Nevermind, I found a good thread with much of your testing in and and am reading now.

Thanks!

That I have no idea, you can probably post a question here or send dat2zap a PM.

My guess is that it auto adjusts the voltage to the load's needed voltage.

I saw that but 1000mA is fine. How is the Vout determined? Is it stable or if not what varies it?

I don't need adjustable just want to know which LEDs it will work with.
